In New Zealand, powerboats 4m and over and non-powered boats 6m and over must display a name or similar identifying mark, such as a radio call sign, Coastguard membership number, or trailer registration. Boat’s brand, make, or model, are not acceptable.
Identification must be:
a minimum of two letters or numbers
displayed on both sides of the hull
above the waterline
at least 90mm high (all characters must be at least 90mm high).
legible at a distance of no less than 50 metres.
The vessel name must not have the potential to be misrepresented as a harbourmaster, coastguard, police, customs fisheries, or similar response vessel.
These self-adhesive decal stickers are completely customisable and very durable. Vinyl graphic decals are cut directly from a single sheet without ink or printing, which means it is not susceptible to UV fade like a digital print. Any vinyl occupying the negative space (background of design) of your graphic is weeded out, creating a clean and dynamic decal perfect for laptops, cars, trucks, motorbikes, house wall, store windows, boards, bikes, trailers and other non-porous surfaces.
Easy to apply transfer tape is supplied, which keeps all the pieces of your graphic in one place while applying. The material is rated to last for years – rain and shine.
Price is for dimensions shown, larger can be made on request If you would like to special request a different size, a specific colour or change other details, just ask.
The final product is supplied as a pre-prepared decal with the application tape on top ready to apply. Assistance on how to apply sticker to surface successfully will be provided if needed. It’s very easy – just clean surface, peel sticker off backing, using a credit card or similar hard edged tool to press the sticker onto the surface, then remove the clear transfer tape from the front of the sticker.
I use a reputable German sticker vinyl designed to last at least 5-7 years outdoors in all weathers.
These decals are made in New Zealand.
